German foundation for crime prevention and criminal assistance

The German Foundation for Crime Prevention and Criminal Assistance (DVS) is a non-profit and operational foundation under civil law. In 1993 the foundation was recognized as a legal entity under the foundation law of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia .

The German Foundation for Crime Prevention and Crime Prevention (DVS) is active nationwide and internationally and particularly supports the annual German Prevention Day (DPT) , the Annual International Forum for Crime Prevention (AIF), the DPT Institute (dpt-i) and the DBH - Association for Social Work, Criminal Law and Criminal Policy . The organs of DVS are the executive board (chairman has been Hans-Jürgen Kerner since it was founded ), the board of trustees and the foundation board. The Board of Trustees was headed by Jürgen Mutz from the establishment of the DVS until 2017, and Helmut Fünfsinn has been chairman since 2017 . Founding CEO of DVS is Erich Marks .
