The German Administrative Practice (DVP) is a specialist journal for public administration . It is distributed by Maximilian Verlag and appears twelve times a year.
Collection of laws and series of publications and textbooks
A collection of legal texts is also published by Maximilian Verlag under the same name. These are each divided into a federal law part and a state law part. They are kept as a loose-leaf collection and updated approximately every quarter with additional deliveries. In addition, various series of publications and textbooks are published that offer in-depth administrative law topics for training and further education in various federal states.

In Schleswig-Holstein , according to the guidelines of the Bordesholm Administrative Academy (VAB) and the FHVD Altenholz , the DVP collection of laws is the only permissible textbook for taking examinations (e.g. salary examinations I and II and career tests for civil servants ).
