The German book and stone printer was a four-week magazine from the end of the 19th century and, according to its subtitle, a "monthly report and treatise on the graphic arts and crafts ." The trade journal appeared in 32 volumes from October 1894 to 1926, partly with the secondary title Gravure Special Edition . Occasionally the periodical, in which the journal Journal für Buchdruckerkunst, Typgießerei and related subjects was absorbed, was accompanied by the graphic celebration hours.

The book and lithographic printer published by Morgenstern in Berlin had the headline in its English version as German Letterpress and Lithographic Printer , in its Nordic edition as Tyska bok- och stentryckaren and in Spanish as Tipógrafo a litógrafo alemán .

The monthly magazine was continued in Deutsches Drucker .
