The German Show Ballet Berlin is a German dance ensemble on television and on stage.

history

The German Show Ballet Berlin was founded in 2003 by Berlin media manager Peter Wolf . After various live performances, the ensemble was integrated as an integral part of the program when the ZDF Saturday evening show Willkommen bei Carmen Nebel was founded. Appearances in the television shows ZDF-Fernsehgarten , Greetings from Love (ZDF), German Film Prize ( ARD ) and the hit giants ( SAT.1 ) followed. The dance repertoire includes classical ballet, jazz dance and street dance . The dance company consists of 26 dancers.

In 2009 the ensemble was on tour with Anna Maria Kaufmann on her Musical Diva tour in German-speaking countries. The German Show Ballet Berlin is also present at presentations and gala evenings. In March 2009, the ladies, together with the ballet of the Friedrichstadtpalast Berlin and 112 legs on ZDF, beat the previous world record for the longest girl series in the world from 1987.

The German Show Ballet was taken over by the German Television Ballet in January 2013 .
