Devekovan

Until 2014, Devekovan was a municipality in the Şereflikoçhisar district of Ankara province in Turkey . It has been part of the city of Şereflikoçhisar since the 2014 territorial reform . 378 residents live there.

Devekovan is in hilly terrain. The distance from Ankara is about 160 km. The village is located in the southeastern part of the district and is about 20 km from the district town. Neighboring towns are Cavlak in the north, Yeşilyurt in the northwest, Üzengilik in the northeast , Eley in the east, Aliuşagı in the south and Karandere in the west.

In the 2004 local elections, the DYP received 39.61% of the vote. In the 2009 local elections, the AKP received 40.6% of the vote. The last mayor of the municipality was Memis Çelik.
