Dexter davis jr. (* 27. December 1990 in Wichita , Kansas ) is an American American Football - Arena football - and Canadian football poker players. He played one season on the defensive end position with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and two for the Portland Thunder / Storm on the linebacker position in the Arena Football League (AFL). He currently works for the Baltimore Brigade .

college

Davis attended Friends University between 2009 and 2012 , where he played college football in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). He was voted NAIA All-American for his last two seasons . In 2011 he was named Defensive Player of the Year after leading the league in both sacks per game (1.4) and sacks (14). In his last season he was again able to achieve 14 sacks and an additional 45 tackles , catch an interception , force eight fumbles , conquer four fumbles and block two kicks. After his football license expired, he ran athletics for the school team until 2014.

CFL

In May 2013, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed Davis. He was released on June 22, 2013. Shortly thereafter, Davis was rewritten and made his CFL debut in July 2013. On August 12, 2013, he was released again.

AFL

On November 26, 2014, the Portland Thunder Davis signed. In his first season he was able to appear in nine games, scoring 20 tackles and five sacks. His contract was extended on October 8, 2015. In 2016 he scored 14.5 tackles and 3.0 sacks, as well as three blocked kicks, in ten games for the club, which has now been renamed Portland Storm. On March 27, 2017, the Baltimore Brigade enlisted him .

CAFL

In the 2016 CAFL Draft , Davis was selected as the 31st player in the fifth round by the Guanzhou Power of the China Arena Football League . In the 2017 CAFL Draft, Davis was selected as the 21st player in the fourth round by the Guanzhou Power.
