Dhanush
Dhanush ( Tamil : தனுஷ் [ ˈd̪anuʂ ]; born July 28, 1983 in Chennai ; also K. Dhanush , actually Prabhu Kasturirajan ) is an Indian actor and singer. He appears mostly in Tamil films .
Life
Dhanush is the son of the director Kasthuri Rajah . His brother Selvaraghavan , who was married to actress Sonia Agarwal , brought him to film. In addition to his brother, Dhanush has two older sisters.
He had great success as an actor with his debut film Thulluvadho Ilamai from 2002 and his two subsequent films were also very successful. His brother Selvaraghavan made his directorial debut in his second film, Kadhal Konden from 2003. In some films with Dhanush, his sister-in-law Sonia Agarwal played with and took over the female lead.
Dhanush sings some of the songs in his films himself. At the end of 2011, the song Why This Kolaveri Di sung by Dhanush developed into an internet phenomenon and achieved great fame throughout India.
Dhanush is married to Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya . The couple have two sons.
