Golowan started in Vershina Tjoi for the first time in the Eastern Europe Cup in November 2011 and finished in 108th and 106th place in the sprint and 89th place over 5 km classic. In February 2018, in Kononovskaya , she achieved sixth place in the skiathlon, her first top ten placement in the Eastern Europe Cup. After finishing seventh in the 5 km freestyle in Vershina Tjoi at the beginning of the 2018/19 season, she clinched her first victory in the Eastern Europe Cup over 10 km. In the further course of the season she came under the top ten six times, including second place over 10 km classic in Krasnoyarsk and thus reached third place in the overall standings. At the Winter Universiade 2019 in Krasnoyarsk, she finished sixth in the 15 km mass start race. At the beginning of the 2019/20 season she started the Ruka Triple in the World Cup for the first time and finished 44th in the overall standings. At the following World Cup in Lillehammer , she got her first World Cup point with 30th place in the skiathlon. This was followed by 33rd place in the Tour de Ski 2019/20 and 45th place in the ski tour.
