Dida Dragan

Dida Drăgan (aka Didina Alexandra Drăgan ; born September 14, 1946 in Jugureni ) is a Romanian singer and poet .

She successfully participated in several international music festivals: 1972 at the Mamaia Music Festival (1st place), 1974 at the International Schlagerfestival Dresden (3rd place), in 1975 at the Knokke-Heist Euro-Cup and at the Tokyo Song Festival . In the 1970s she recorded three singles in German for the GDR label Amiga .

With the theatrical piano piece Nu Pleca , she would have been intended to be Romania's first contribution to the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993 , but could not qualify for the Eastern European preliminary round in Ljubljana .
