Didrik Bastian Juell (born February 22, 1990 in Oslo ) is a Norwegian freestyle skier . He specializes in the discipline of ski cross .

biography

Juell was an alpine ski racer at the beginning of his sports career , but could not achieve any notable successes. In February 2009 he contested his last FIS race and then turned to ski cross. At the 2010 Junior World Championship in Cardrona , New Zealand , his only fourth ski cross race, he won the gold medal. Juell made his debut in the Freestyle World Cup on December 18, 2010 in Innichen , where he finished 49th. He won his first World Cup points the following day in 15th place. A year later, he made it into the top ten at the same place. He achieved his first podium on January 15, 2012 when he finished second in Les Contamines .
