The final class was a pseudo-documentary that was first broadcast as final class 03 (2003).

The program was intended to depict the real life of high school graduates and was initially broadcast on the ProSieben talk show Arabella , in which the amateur actors commented on their experiences and presented them as authentic.

The last season produced was the 2006 senior year . Both the production of the final year series as well as the production of the Friends series was set in early 2006 due to low viewer ratings.
