Arsène Lupine versus Sherlock Holmes is a German serial that was created between 1910 and 1911.
Rod
The serial are all black and white films and silent films and include five Sherlock Holmes films. Directed by Viggo Larsen , who also played the role of Sherlock Holmes . Paul Otto played the role of Lupine . The film was shot in the Vitascope studio in Berlin, the producer was Jules Greenbaum .

Actions
There are several adventures in which Holmes and his assistant are always asked for help, since Lupine, as a master thief , stole various things (secretary, diamond, painting, etc.) and always disguised himself beyond recognition. Holmes manages to expose and confront him every time, but Lupine escapes him at the end of each film. When Holmes takes a break in the mountains in the last part, Lupine has followed him and a life-and-death fight ensues between the two, in which the thief falls and dies.
