The Feuchtgrubers

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Feuchtgrubers is a comedy series that ran from 1990 to 1999 on the radio station Antenne Bayern .

The Feuchtgrubers are a family from the Ramersdorf district of Munich: Papa Alfons (mustard machine mechanic), Mama Roswitha (former Avon consultant ), daughter Felicitas (student) and son Leopold (in kindergarten). In addition, there is the Zwergbernhardiner whiskey. The characters develop over the course of the series. Papa Alfons was promoted to master mustard machine mechanic in autumn 1992 . Son Leopold outgrows kindergarten and even breaks his voice in the last episodes of the series .

The stories about the Feuchtgruber family were written by Willy Astor . Astor also spoke the role of Roswitha Feuchtgruber. The root of the name lies with Astor's childhood friend Reinhold Feuchtgruber. While the first episodes of the Feuchtgruber from 1990 can definitely be assigned to the genre of satire , situation comedy and Astor's puns later take on great importance in the series.

The individual episodes of the series last about 3 to 4 minutes.

Special offers

In addition to the regular episodes, there were also some specials about the Feuchtgruber family:

  • On the occasion of the release of the single Mir zwoa g'hörn z'samm , the Antenne Bayern Sunday breakfast was broadcast from the family's living room. The show ran over a whole morning, at the end of which the single was premiered. The complete Sunday breakfast was later published on the MC "Das Beste von 1991".
  • On the occasion of the 100th episode in autumn 1992, Antenne Bayern auctioned the legendary hazelnut brown wide cord couch from the Feuchtgrubers for a good cause. The family got a brand new couch in mustard beige as a replacement.
  • On the occasion of the station's birthday, the family appeared in the studio. This special was later published on the CD "Antenne Bayern - Die Platte II".
  • Ms. Deckweiß, who appears in some episodes of Feuchtgrubers, moderated the station's first CD ("Antenne Bayern - Die Platte").

CD publications

The Feuchtgruber family's adventures were initially only available directly from the broadcaster on MC. In autumn 1991 the Feuchtgrubers entered the "most turbulent week of the year": the family won 10,000 DM and a record deal in a competition. Shortly afterwards the first commercial album Mir zwoa g'hörn z'samm was released, which summarizes the turbulent week again and contains some songs sung by Astor and Lehmann. More CDs came out over the years; however, these no longer contained any songs.
