Die Lugners is an Austrian reality soap based on The Osbournes , which is broadcast on the Austrian private television broadcaster ATV . After "Die Lugners" was broadcast from September 2002 as part of the tabloid magazine check it , an independent series was created, the first episode of which was broadcast in 2003.
content
The program describes the everyday life of the building contractor Richard Lugner (nickname Mortar ) and his family. The program will be broadcast on the following Friday for current events such as the Vienna Opera Ball or Life Ball . Guest appearances included Geri Halliwell , Carmen Electra , Paris Hilton , Gery Keszler , Dieter Bohlen and the Viennese society lady Jeannine Schiller .
Mortar seeks happiness
After Richard and Christina Lugner divorced in the summer of 2007, one last season of this cast was broadcast on ATV. Since the end of the series might have meant a loss of profits for the private broadcaster, it was decided to produce a new format in which Richard Lugner finds a new wife for his happiness. The Lugners - Mörtel sucht das Glück (Mörtel sucht das Glück) was broadcast from September 2007 and was even able to trump the ratings of the previous seasons in some cases.
In each episode, Lugner visited an astrologer and asked her about favorable selection names and zodiac signs of his potential dream women. Then he read through the applications for the programs and invited four women who had applied to come over and interviewed each of them. Then he had to choose two, with whom he then toured a city abroad for a weekend. After the two days he had to choose one of the two women. The woman who “won his heart” was made his miss in the travel city, for example Miss Budapest in Budapest . Towards the end of the 12 episode long season, Lugner selected two finalists from the 6 misses , with whom he spent a vacation in Kenya , after which he decided in the last episode for the winner (Bettina Kofler), who accompanied him to the 2008 Opera Ball.
Further seasons / episodes
In autumn 2008 the 9th season of the Lugners was broadcast. Topics included Richard Lugner's life with Bettina Kofler, the winner of Mörtel sucht das Glück , a mass camping trip to Croatia with fans who applied through ATV, as well as Lugner and Kofler in historical costumes and actions. In November 2008, two episodes were broadcast in which Lugner and Kofler went on vacation to Turkey with some fans and the two separated. Since then, episodes have been shown at irregular intervals in which Lugner is shown on vacation and at the opera ball, among other things. Further special consequences: Mortar turns 80!
