The Oberkrainer Polka Girls ( Polka Punce in Slovenia ) were a folk music group from Slovenia .
history
Jože Žlavs and Vera Šolinc (mother of trumpeter Eva Šolinc, until October 2011 singer of the group Gašperji or Die Junge Original Oberkrainer , from 2012 with a new formation Vera & their Oberkrainer or in Slovenia Vera & Originali ) founded the girl- Quintet .
In April 2008, the group had its television premiere in Germany on the MDR program Wernesgrüner Musikantenschenke .
Due to the departure of several members at the end of 2011, u. a. the rights holder of the name Polka punce ceased to exist in late 2011. This was published in all Slovenian music portals. Since the German-speaking naming rights are in Austria, there has been a new group of the same name since the beginning of 2012, but in Slovenia it is called Slovenskih deklet . Legally and organizationally, it has nothing to do with the group that was dissolved in 2011.
