The Ortenau: Journal of the Historical Association for Central Baden is a historical journal in Baden-Württemberg .

The annual association yearbook (from 1910 to 1961 referred to as “booklet”, since 1962 as “annual volume”) of the Historical Association for Central Baden contains articles on regional and local historical topics and an extensive review section . In addition, there are regular notices, news and reports on club life.

The namesake for the magazine, which has been the most important magazine for Central Baden history since 1910 , is the Ortenau , a historical landscape on the right Upper Rhine and in the foothills of the Black Forest in Baden-Württemberg.
