action

Reporter Chris Berdol is mercilessly beaten up by three Irish giants during a rugby match between England and Ireland. Shortly before he passed out, he heard how one of the giants gave him a very angry greeting from his sister and threw red roses in his face. Conscious again, he remembers that he was in Dublin 10 years ago and had an affair with an Irish model. At that time, he had fled out of fear of commitment and did not report back when he learned that the liaison had not been without consequences. To investigate the matter, he goes to Ireland with his friend Paulo, to the remote little town of Baglehoodhoney on the Irish coast. There you see love in a different light than in Paris and his lover at the time, Spring, does not find it easy to assert himself with her illegitimate son Anthony. That made her hard and when Chris Berdol shows up as a surprise, she doesn't want to know anything about him. She also vehemently denies that he is her son's father. But Chris Berdol remains stubborn and does not let himself be dissuaded by Chris brothers, nor by the wealthy sheep farmer Hogan or the poultry farmer Hutzinger, who are both vying for the favor of the beautiful Spring, from staying in Ireland and fighting for his son. Unexpectedly, however, Berdol's friend Ines L'Amour turns up in Baglehoodhoney , which makes the whole thing even more complicated than it already is, because Spring has just decided to marry the chicken farmer Hutzinger. Anthony doesn't like that, because since he met his father Chris Berdol, he also wants them to be a family. Desperate, he runs away from home and hides in a cave. Although the whole village is looking for him, it is his father who ultimately finds him and thus collects plus points at Spring. When the wedding with Hutzinger is imminent and the honeymoon is also planned, Spring finally decides in favor of Chris, because she had to find out that Hutzinger only wanted to "marry" her and not her son too, the poultry farmer wanted to send him to boarding school .
