The Tornados are a German ska and surf band from Dessau and Leipzig .
Band history
The Tornados were founded in Dessau in 1995. The band is stylistically based on Ska, Surf and the Rock'n'Roll of the fifties. Six years after the founding, the debut album "Heartbeat" was released. In 2006 the second album "Go Out and Dance" was released. Numerous singles, samplers and split releases have been released between albums. The band has played countless concerts all over Europe in the 18 years of its existence and is now one of the most important ska bands in Germany.
The band's official last concert took place on April 29, 2019 in the Felsenkeller in Leipzig.
