Aloys Göddertz

Aloys Göddertz (born December 15, 1812 in Aachen , † November 29, 1872 in Honnef ) was a German businessman, publicist and politician.

Life

Aloys Göddertz attended grammar school in Aachen and then initially worked as a businessman. Later he worked as a publicist.

In 1862 and then again from 1867 to 1872 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives . From 1867 to 1871 Göddertz was a member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation for the constituency of Cologne 5 ( Siegkreis , Waldbröl ) and the Free Association . In this capacity he was also a member of the Customs Parliament from 1868 to 1870 .
