Diebrunn is a district of Wernberg-Köblitz in the Bavarian district of Schwandorf .

geography

The place is on the left side of the Naab in the Upper Palatinate Forest Nature Park . It has about 50 residents. State road 2657 from Wernberg-Köblitz to Weiden in the Upper Palatinate runs right through the center of the village .

history

The agricultural Diebrunn originally belonged to the municipality of Oberköblitz, which was formed in 1828 from the tax districts Oberköblitz, (Oberköblitz, Diebrunn and Feistelberg ) and Unterköblitz (Unterköblitz and Kettnitzmühle). With the exception of Kettnitzmühle, all places in the municipality belonged to the Leuchtenberg maintenance office in Wernberg. In 1972 the municipality of Neunaigen was incorporated into the municipality of Oberköblitz as part of the regional reform . On January 1, 1974, the market Wernberg and the municipality of Oberköblitz merged to form the market town of Wernberg-Köblitz.
