Diego Pérez , full name Diego Armando Pérez Quinta , (born November 26, 1979 in Fraile Muerto or Melo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.87 meter tall goalkeeper Pérez played since 2003, according to other sources, from the 2006 Apertura to the 2008 Clausura for the then second division club Cerro Largo FC . In the following two seasons he was in the ranks of the Montevideo Wanderers . There was used in the seasons 2008/09 and 2009/10 25 and 30 times in the Primera División . In 2010/11 he was part of the squad of the first division club Danubio FC . He left this in 2011 for the second division side Boston River and played for his new employer in 20 second division games in the 2011/12 season. From there he returned to the Wanderers in 2012, where he made another 13 first division appearances in the 2012/13 season. At Apertura 2013 he was listed as a departure without a destination. Since then, there has been no new engagement in professional football for him. In the 2014/15 season he is said to have been back in the ranks of Cerro Largo FC.
