Diego Riolfo , full name Diego Nicolás Riolfo Pérez , (born January 8, 1990 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
According to his club, the 1.72 meter tall offensive player Riolfo has been in the ranks of the first division club Central Español since at least the 2010 Apertura . That year he also made his debut on the Montevidean professional team. In the 2010/11 season he played there, depending on the sources, 13 or 14 first division games and scored one goal. In January 2012 he was then awarded to the Montevideo Wanderers during the Clausura 2012 and was used in six games (no goal) of the Primera División in that half series . The Wanderers then signed him in July 2012 and transferred him on loan for the 2012/13 season to the Spanish second division club Recreativo de Huelva . In the Segunda División , he completed eleven league games and a cup game in the Copa del Rey from his debut on September 8, 2012 against Murcia to his last appearance on June 2, 2013 against Sporting Gijón . Then he returned to the Wanderers. In the 2013/14 season he came to the Wanderers in 30 league encounters (three goals) to train. The Wanderers won the Clausura 2014 in that season and were runner-up. In the 2014/15 season he played 26 times in the league and six times (one goal) in the 2015 Copa Libertadores (four goals). In mid-May 2015, he tore a cruciate ligament in his left knee for the second time in three years, with a predicted injury-related downtime of six months. During the 2015/16 season he was used 15 times (six goals) in the Primera División. He moved to Necaxa in mid-June 2016 . For the Mexicans, he played a total of ten league games (no goal) and four games (three goals) in the Copa México .
In January 2018, Riolfo moved to the Argentine first division club CD Godoy Cruz on a free transfer .
