Diego Viña , full name Diego Matías Viña Ferreira , (born August 29, 1988 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.83 meter tall midfielder Viña was a member of the Club Atlético Torque squad from 2007 to the end of 2009 . He then worked for a year and a half for the Huracán Football Club , where he played at least 17 second division games (no goal) in the 2010/11 season. In mid-July 2011 he moved on loan to Cerro Largo FC , where he was used in the Apertura 2011 in two games (no goal) of the Primera División . In early 2011, he returned to the Huracán Football Club and scored three times in the opposing goal in eleven second division appearances in 2012. Since July 2013 he continued his career at Villa Teresa . After he played there in the first two seasons in a total of 40 games of the Segunda División and scored three goals, he rose to the top of the Uruguayan league with the club in the 2015/16 season. There he completed 18 other first division matches and scored one goal. However, Villa Teresa immediately dismounted. In the 2016 season he then played six games in the second-highest Uruguayan league with the Montevideans. He did not score a hit.
