Diemen was a Spanish motorcycle manufacturer from the 1950s and 1960s based in Elche , Alicante province .
The brand name is a syllable from the name of the founder Die go Men diola. The brand's logo showed the Dama de Elche .
Diego Mendiola built 1950-1955 motor bicycles of the type Cucciolo 60 T3 with " Cucciolo " -60-cm³- auxiliary engines of Ducati (59.57 cm). One copy is in the Museo Vehículos Históricos Valle de Guadalest in Guadalest .
In 1960 he built 29 under license from Elig and in 1961 another 18 motorcycles under his brand. The 4-speed gearboxes came from the Scottish manufacturer Albion Motors . The model had 14-inch rims with relatively thick tires. The 125 cc two-stroke engine came from Hispano Villiers (engine type 12D). A motorcycle of this type is in the Museo Balboa de Motos Clásicas by Manuel Balboa Morillas in Alicante.
