Diens (* 1978 , real name Etienne Marti ), formerly Dienson , is a Swiss rapper and music producer from Bern .

Career

Together with his older brother Cédric, Serej 'Marti , Diens started rapping as a teenager and took part in various competitions in the Bern region, among other things. In 1997 he founded the group Wurzel 5 with school friends . The band released four albums between 2001 and 2009 and two of them reached number 5 in the Swiss album charts. After the album Letschti Rundi , the group announced that they would no longer publish full studio albums in the future.

Furthermore, Marti drew attention to himself with numerous articles on samplers and the publications of other musicians. He belongs to the Chlyklass collective through Wurzel 5 and was involved in the album Ke Summer .

Since 2006 diene along with Basil, Baze 'Anliker singer and frontman of the band Tequila Boys, known for a monthly concert of songs covert . The group re-performed the concert live in the anchor of Rumpelstilz in 2009 and released an album for it.

On January 18, 2013 he released his first solo album titled Black Male .
