The Diestelower See is a lake in the south of the Goldberg municipality in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

Flatly

It is a little indented body of water south of the eponymous place. The lake is 550 meters long and up to about 240 meters wide. The outflow of the lake is in the east and the lake drains via the Störbeck northwards to the Grenzgraben and Mildenitz . The lake is over two meters deep. The road from Lübz to Goldberg runs west of the lake .

The circular route begins at the rose garden in the former estate where the manor house once stood. In what is now the fairly large open-air site, one can see two impressive weeping beeches near the lake, which were once used as a breeding ground for white storks. There are imposing beeches , oaks and ash trees in the park . A small stream feeds the lake from the south. Along the bank, past several fishing spots, you reach an old orchard. Then it goes to the bus stop in the direction of the village.
