Dieter Buttgereit

Dieter Buttgereit (born November 28, 1932 in Eiringhausen ; † November 23, 2010 ) was a German entrepreneur .

Life

Born and raised in what is now Plettenberger district Eiringhausen, visited Buttgereit the local folk , and later high school . After a two-year apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at the drop forge W. Wagner (Köbinghauser Hammer), he founded Plettenberger Eisenwaren GmbH in 1962. Plettac AG later emerged from it. In 1993 the company went public. In October 1994 he handed over the chairmanship as CEO to Jürgen Schwerike. At this point in time, the company had an annual turnover of 700 million DM with 2,600 employees.

Buttgereit died on November 23, 2010. The Requiem took place on November 27, 2010 in the parish church of St. Johann Baptist in Eiringhausen. He was then buried in the local cemetery.
