Eiringhausen is a district of Plettenberg in the Märkisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia . The Plettenberg train station is located on the Ruhr-Sieg route .
Geography and traffic
Eiringhausen is in the Lennetal , on the B 236 , in the Märkisches Sauerland . Even the Plettenberg station is located here.
history
In 1903 the volunteer fire brigade was founded.
Buildings
One of the striking buildings is the church of St. Johann Baptist on Karlstrasse (Bredde) with 300 seats from 1975 (architect: Rolf Grundmann). It replaces the old church on Reichsstrasse from 1909, which was demolished in 1978. The historical buildings include the railway building: station building from 1861, expanded in 1904 (monument), goods shed, also from 1861 in the core, and the station kiosk (monument).
