Dieter Claussen

Dieter Claußen (born July 10, 1936 in Lunden ; † November 25, 2012 ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1987 to 1992 he was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament .

Life

After Claußen had finished school with a secondary school certificate, he began an apprenticeship as a gas-water plumber . He first worked as a heating engineer before setting up as a self-employed master gas-water plumber. In the guild for sanitary and heating technology Dithmarschen -Nord, Claussen was deputy head master from 1974 and head master from 1982. In 1987 he became state guild master of SHK Schleswig-Holstein.

Claußen became a member of the CDU in 1972. For the party he was active from 1973 to 1982 as local and district chairman in Lunden. From 1978 to 1988 he was district chairman of MIT Dithmarschen.

In 1974, Claussen was elected community representative in Lunden and became a member of the office committee. From 1974 to 1986 he was parliamentary group spokesman for the CDU. 1986 Claußen became the first deputy mayor of the municipality.

In 1987 he switched to state politics after being elected to the Kiel state parliament as a direct candidate for the CDU in the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament election in constituency 10 (Dithmarschen-Nord). In the early election the following year, he succeeded in re-entering the state parliament via the CDU's electoral list. Claussen was a member of the state parliament from October 2, 1987 to May 5, 1992. On May 23, 1989, he took part in the ninth federal assembly at which Richard von Weizsäcker was re-elected as federal president .

Dieter Claussen was a Protestant, married and the father of five children. He died on November 25, 2012 at the age of 76.
