Dieter Dittmann

Dieter Dittmann (born December 5, 1933 ) is a former German soccer player. In 1956 he played a championship game for SC Motor Karl-Marx-Stadt in the GDR Oberliga , the top division in GDR football .

Athletic career

At the age of 19, Dieter Dittmann was included in the football team of the company sports community (BSG) Chemie Karl-Marx-Stadt for the 1953/54 season , whose first team was playing in the second-rate GDR league at that time . In the 26 match days of the season, Dittmann was only used once. At the end of the season, the BSG Chemie was promoted to the GDR Oberliga and was not used there for Dittmann. For the 1954/55 season he was delegated to the neighboring community, the GDR league newcomer BSG Motor West Karl-Marx-Stadt . There he enters twelve of the 26 point games. The BSG Motor West rose at the end of the season from the GDR league again, but Dittmann was assigned to the GDR Oberliga squad of the newly founded Motor Karl-Marx-Stadt sports club . However, he came only once on the 3rd match day of the 1956 league season (change to the calendar year rhythm) as a defender for use. After that, he didn't appear in higher-class football.
