Dieter Jerzewski

Dieter Jerzewski is a German football functional .

Life

Jerzewski was a teacher by profession and director of the Bergiusstrasse school center in Bremen until retirement .

At the age of 17 he started volunteering in football. He passed the referee examination in 1955 and led games in amateur leagues in all age groups for 40 years. From 1971 he took over association duties. Among other things, he was a referee observer in the Bundesliga , cash auditor, member of the DFB advisory board, member of the DFB sports court, treasurer of the Regionalliga Nord as well as a member of the board of the DFB and the DFB cultural foundation.

From 1992 to May 2010 he was President of the Bremen Football Association and from March 2006 to June 2009 President of the North German Football Association .

  • 2011: Cross of Merit on Ribbon of the Federal Republic of Germany
