Dieter KE Walter

Dieter Walter (* 1950 in Iserlohn ) is a German writer who also writes under the pseudonym Viktor Glass .

Walter passed the Abitur in Hattingen / Ruhr. He then studied pedagogy, journalism and sinology at the Ruhr University in Bochum. He attended the University of Applied Sciences for Municipal Administration, after which he worked for 5 years in the city of Bochum's cultural office.

Walter has been a member of the Association of German Writers (VDS) since 1975 . He has been a freelance writer, translator and journalist since 1980. He wrote travel guides in the 1990s, mostly on Australia. In 1997 he moved to Weilheim in Upper Bavaria and later to Augsburg . From 1998 he was a ghostwriter for biographies. After a scriptwriting seminar in the Hamburg studio (with Gyula Trebitsch , Michael Ballhaus and Hans W. Geißendörfer ) and seminars at the Frankfurt book dealer school, he worked for a publishing company for three years as part of the publishing of travel guides. He received further journalistic training in the areas of research and coaching. In 2008 he became chairman of the Association of German Writers in Allgäu-Swabia.
