Dieter Kattenbeck

Dieter Kattenbeck (born October 15, 1936 in Dresden ) is a German graduate financial economist and trade unionist.

After attending the new grammar school in Regensburg , Kattenbeck joined the senior service of the Bavarian financial administration in 1955. In 1958, after passing his exam, he was appointed tax inspector and worked in Nuremberg , Munich and Regensburg, most recently as a company auditor. He was a member of several local staff councils and was also chairman. In 1966 he became a member and in 1974 chairman of the main staff council in the Bavarian State Ministry of Finance . He was also chairman of the working group of the main staff council chairmen in Bavaria.

Kattenbeck was active on a voluntary basis in the Bavarian Association of Officials . He was a member of the main board and in 1989 became its state chairman. At the German Association of Officials he was a member of the federal executive board and the federal executive board. He also sat on the state board of the Bavarian Finance Union, on the federal board of the German Tax Union and from 1984 until its dissolution in 1999 in the Bavarian Senate .
