Dieter Kiessling
Dieter Kiessling (* 1957 in Münster ) is a German visual artist .
Live and act
Kiessling studied from 1978 to 1986 at the Art Academy in Münster . In 1986 he received the production award from the Bonn International Videonale. In 1993 he received a grant from the Kunstfonds Bonn e. V. Four years later he was visiting professor at the University of the Arts in Bremen . Subsequently, he was professor at the Karlsruhe University of Design until 2003 . From 2004 to 2005 he was a substitute professor at the University of Duisburg-Essen . In 2005 he took over the professorship for media art at the Mainz Art School . He lives and works in Düsseldorf .
