Dieter Lehmann (politician)

Dieter (Dietrich) Lehmann (born October 27, 1929 ) is a former German politician ( CDU ). From 1960 to 1966 he was chairman of the Neubrandenburg district board of the GDR CDU.

Life

Lehmann completed an apprenticeship in agriculture between 1945 and 1949 . In 1948 he joined the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU). In 1950 he passed the test to become a seed breeding assistant. From 1949 to 1956 Lehmann worked as a test engineer.

In 1956 and from 1961 to 1966 Lehmann was a member of the Herzberg district council . From 1956 to 1959 he studied agricultural science at the Humboldt University in Berlin . He completed his studies with a degree in agriculture . From 1960 to 1966 he worked as director of the district agricultural school in Herzberg and also acted as chairman of the district association Herzberg of the CDU. From October 1966 to February 1981 Lehmann was chairman of the CDU's Neubrandenburg district board. From 1968 to 1982 he was a member of the main board of the CDU.

Lehmann was also a member of the Free German Trade Union Federation , the Society for German-Soviet Friendship , the Kulturbund and URANIA .
