Bernd Hillmann

Bernd Hillmann (born January 4, 1943 ) is a former German politician ( CDU ). He was chairman of the Neubrandenburg district association of the CDU.

Life

From 1966 he studied at the Wilhelm Pieck University in Rostock . He completed his studies in 1970 with a degree in engineering economics. He then headed a department at VEB Baumechanik Neubrandenburg until 1972 . From 1972 to 1975 he worked as a deputy investment manager in the VEB water supply and wastewater treatment Neubrandenburg. In 1975 he returned to VEB Baumechanik, where he again held responsible positions.

Hillmann joined the CDU in 1966. From 1974 he was a city ​​councilor in Neubrandenburg. Between 1974 and 1980 he was a member and temporarily deputy chairman of the CDU district committee in Neubrandenburg. From 1978 to 1981 he served as deputy chairman and from 1981 to February 1987 as chairman of the CDU's Neubrandenburg district board, then as a member of the district board's secretariat. From October 1982 (15th party congress) to October 1987 (16th party congress) he was a member of the main board of the CDU. From 1986 to 1990 he was a member of the Neubrandenburg District Assembly and from 1987 a member of the Neubrandenburg District Council for Recreation (successor to Wolfgang Mäder ).

Hillmann had worked as IM "Vindevogel" for the Ministry of State Security since 1966 .
