Dieter Pawlack (born December 24, 1946 in Senftenberg ) is a former German soccer player . During his career, Pawlack played for ASG Vorwärts Cottbus and BSG Lokomotive Cottbus in the second-class GDR league .

Career

Pawlack, who was born in Senftenberg, learned to play football from the local SC activist Brieske-Senftenberg . After the club was dissolved in 1963, Pawlack went to the successor club SC Cottbus . There he was with the team in 1964 junior district champion of the Cottbus district and took third place in the final round of the GDR championship. In the following season Pawlack was used for the first time for the men's team of SC Cottbus in the district league Cottbus. In the first two seasons he completed 31 missions for Cottbus in the junior district league, in which, however, he did not score a goal. In 1966 the football department of SC Cottbus was converted into the BSG Energie Cottbus . In the 1966/67 season Pawlack came to 24 missions in the district league. The defender then stayed with the club until 1969, but he was never used for the Energie Cottbus men's team.

Before the 1969/70 season of the GDR league, Pawlack moved to league rivals ASG Vorwärts Cottbus , where he was used in 15 games and scored two goals. The following season was Pawlack's best season with six goals in 25 games, at the end of the season he was eleventh with the army sports community. After the division of the GDR league from the 1971/72 season , Pawlack played with ASG in season B. In the following three seasons, Dieter Pawlack came on 57 missions with three goals. At the end of the 1973/74 season , ASG Vorwärts Cottbus was relegated to tenth place in the table, then the club was dissolved and Pawlack switched to BSG Lokomotive Cottbus , which had just been promoted to the GDR league. After just one season, Pawlack was relegated to the third-class district league Cottbus with Lokomotive Cottbus. After seven years in the district league, Pawlack rose again to the GDR league with Lok Cottbus in 1982. After relegation again, Pawlack only narrowly missed promotion to the GDR league with Lok Cottbus, level on points with first-placed TSG Elsterwerda . From 1990 Pawlack played for Lokomotive Cottbus in the Brandenburg League . In 1996 he ended his career at the club, which has since been renamed ESV Lok Cottbus .
