Dieter Reh (born June 18, 1946 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The offensive talent developed among the black and whites of Heider SV . In the 1963/64 season, the attacker from Dithmarschen stormed into the ranks of the DFB youth national team . He made his debut on March 8, 1964 in a 2-1 win in Loerrach in the international match against Switzerland in the ranks of the DFB talents. Hans-Hubert Vogts defended, as the left wing runner in the World Cup system at the time, Franz Beckenbauer scored both goals and Reh acted on half right. On March 26th and 30th, he also played in the two group matches in the UEFA youth tournament in the Netherlands against Sweden (2-1) and the hosts (1-3). After the unsuccessful attempt with his hometown club Heider SV in 1964/65 to achieve promotion to the then second -rate regional football league North , the "small HSV" failed in the promotion round, he accepted the contract offer of the Bundesliga founding member from Münster for the round of 1965/66 .

The striker began his professional career in 1965 with the regional league team Preußen Münster . With the Prussians, he did not get beyond midfield positions and completed 154 games by his departure in 1971, scoring 45 goals. This makes Dieter Reh the record scorer for Münster in the Regionalliga. Dieter Reh then moved to DJK Gütersloh , for whom he played for two years and scored five goals in 57 regional league games. In the summer of 1973 Reh then went to Arminia Bielefeld and qualified with his team for the newly created 2nd Bundesliga . Reh was used 16 times during the season and scored one goal. At the end of the season he then moved to Holstein Kiel in the third-class Oberliga Nord . Kiel was 10th in 1974/75 and Reh had scored three goals in 16 games. For the 1975/76 season he joined TSG Harsewinkel .
