Dieter Stobernack (born November 3, 1950 in Senftenberg ) is a former German football player in the defense . He played for BFC Dynamo and BSG Energie Cottbus in the GDR league .

Career

Stobernack played in his youth from 1965 to 1969 for the BSG activist Brieske-Senftenberg . He then went to ASG Vorwärts Halberstadt as part of his military service before returning to Brieske-Senftenberg in 1971. 1973 Stobernack was signed by the league club BFC Dynamo. There he made his debut in the 1972/73 season on June 9, 1973, when he came on as a substitute for Dieter Stumpf on the 22nd matchday in the 4-1 defeat against FC Vorwärts Frankfurt (Oder) in the 55th minute . During this season he came three more times to missions. 1973/74 he came on eight missions, seven of them by substitution. Stobernack also scored his first goal in the league. On November 24, 1973, the 11th matchday, he scored after substitution for Rainer Wroblewski in the 68th minute to equalize the 1-1 draw against BSG Wismut Aue . In the following season he was only used twice, which is why he went to league competitor BSG Energie Cottbus in 1976. In the second half of 1975/76 he completed eleven of 13 games. Stobernack made his first appearance on February 7, 1976, when he was in the starting line-up in the 2-0 defeat against BSG Sachsenring Zwickau . His only major league goal for Energie Cottbus was on April 17, 1976 in a 1-0 victory over Halleschen FC Chemie . After relegation to the second-rate GDR league, he was used eleven times for Cottbus and scored one goal. In 1977 he moved to BSG Bergmann-Borsig Berlin , where he stayed for nine years and ended his career there in 1986.
