Dieter Teichert

Dieter Teichert (* 1958 ) is a German philosopher and professor in Konstanz and Lucerne with a focus on aesthetics , cultural philosophy , philosophy of the mind and theory of the humanities.

Life

Teichert studied philosophy, literary studies and linguistics at universities in Tübingen, Paris and Konstanz from 1978 to 1986. In 1990 he did his doctorate in philosophy at the University of Konstanz and in 1997 he received his habilitation there . Since 2004 he has been an unscheduled member of the University of Konstanz and the University of Lucerne .

Research and Teaching

Teichert researches in particular on philosophical hermeneutics , the philosophy of spirit , the history of philosophy , in the field of ethics and aesthetics . He teaches Classical Texts of Philosophy, Philosophical Hermeneutics, the Philosophy of Spirit and the History of Philosophy, as well as Ethics and Aesthetics.
