Dieter Wyduckel

Dieter Wyduckel (born September 18, 1938 in Bochum ; † August 10, 2015 ) was a German constitutional lawyer .

Life

Wyduckel studied history, Romance studies and philosophy at the universities in Paris, Münster and Cologne and also law in Münster. He worked on the Johannes Althusius bibliography for the Johannes Althusius Society at the Institute for Public Law and Politics in Münster and also received his doctorate in Münster in 1977 with a thesis on the fundamentals of early modern legal and political theory. In 1982 the habilitation followed.

Wyduckel worked as a lecturer in law at the Universities of Münster and Osnabrück. At the Technical University of Dresden he received the professorship for public law and state church law in 1993 and was also retired there. He was honorary chairman of the Johannes Althusius Society.
