Dietmar Eifler (born November 6, 1955 in Bernstadt auf dem Eigen ) is a German politician of the CDU Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and a member of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament .

Life and work

Dietmar Eifler trained as a skilled worker for communications technology from 1972 to 1975 and studied from 1976 to 1979 at the engineering school for mechanical engineering and electrical engineering in Berlin. After graduating as Dipl.-Ing. (FH) communications engineering, he worked at Deutsche Post from 1979 to 1982 and from 1982 to 1990 as a control engineer for ship electronics in Rostock. Since 1990 he has been employed by the district of Stralsund , now the district of Vorpommern-Rügen , and has trained as an administrative specialist. Before being elected to the state parliament, he was head of the “Transport Affairs” department.

Dietmar Eifler is married and has two children.

Dietmar Eifler is a member of the CDU and has been a community representative since 1990 and honorary mayor of the Steinhagen community since 1994 . Since 2009 he has been deputy head of the Niepar office . He is a member of the district executive committee of the CDU North Western Pomerania and is deputy district chairman there.

In the state election in 2011 Dietmar Eifler was in Stralsund I state election district Nordvorpommern III / 33.7% of the vote in the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern elected. There he is chairman of the economic committee.
