Dietmar Lucker

Dietmar "Dieter" Lucker (born November 10, 1937 ) is a former German soccer player who was active in the East German league , the top division of East German soccer, in 1959 and 1960 for BSG Chemie Zeitz .

Athletic career

At the age of 18, Dietmar Lucker, also called Dieter, came for the first time in the 1956 season (calendar year season) with the company sports association (BSG) Chemie Zeitz for three appearances in the second-rate GDR leagueand also scored his first goal in higher-class football. While he was not considered in the GDR league team in the 1957 season, he was used in another four point games in 1958 and was involved in the rise of BSG Chemie in the GDR league including one goal. The Zeitzer were able to hold their own in the major league for two years. 1959 Luckner came only once as a substitute for use. In the 1960 season he was only substituted in four league games in the first half of the season, after which an injury prevented further missions. From 1961, GDR football returned to the spring-summer rhythm. In addition, 39 games had to be played in the GDR league, to which Chemie Zeitz had returned. Luckner finally managed to get into the starting eleven with 26 appearances. When 26 games were played in the GDR league in 1962/63, Luckner was there in 17 matches. He also worked as a right-back in the finalGDR soccer cup , which BSG Chemie Zeitz surprisingly reached as a second division, but lost 3-0 to upper division Motor Zwickau . Although Lucker ended his career as a competitive footballer at the age of 27 after the 1963/64 season, he achieved his best quota of the season with 29 of 30 league games and three goals this season. In his seven seasons he had a total of 84 championship games and seven goals.
