Dietmar Meyer

Dietmar Meyer (born October 3, 1954 in Falkensee ) is a German economist .

Life

He studied planning and analysis (mathematical economics) at the Corvinus University Budapest in 1979 and obtained the Candidatus Scientiarum in 1984 at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and his habilitation in 2002 at the University of Debrecen . He teaches at the Chair of Economic Theory at the Andrássy University in Budapest .

His research fields are economic theory, macroeconomics, dynamic economics, theory of economic growth and business cycles, history of economic thought, mathematical economics and evolutionary economics.
