Dietmar Rösicke

Dietmar Rösicke (born November 9, 1959 in Cottbus ) is a German handball trainer and former handball player.

Dietmar Rösicke trained the women of ASK Frankfurt / Oder until 1990. From 2001 to 2004 he was the head coach of the women at Frankfurt HC , with whom he became German champions in 2004 . From January 2005 to June 2008 he was the head coach of the men from LHC Cottbus in the 2nd Bundesliga. Until February 2011 he looked after the first men's team of HC Neuruppin in the major league. From the summer of 2011 Rösicke coached the women's third division club BVB Füchse Berlin . Under his leadership, BVB Füchse Berlin rose to the 2nd Bundesliga. In January 2014, he ended his work in Berlin. In the summer of 2014 Rösicke took over the coaching of the men's team from SV 63 Brandenburg-West .

In the handball magazine's choice of “Trainer of the Year” in 2004, he came fifth.

Dietmar Rösicke is married to the former handball player Bianca Urbanke-Rösicke . Daughter Lara Rösicke (* 1995) also plays handball, a second daughter was born in 2007.
