Dietmar Schabacker (born January 26, 1949 in Weißenburg ) is a former German football player .
Career
Dietmar Schabacker played with 1. FC Nürnberg in the Regionalliga from 1972 , until the introduction of the 2. Bundesliga he played 56 games and scored two goals. In the second division, he completed 36 more games for the club. For the 1975/76 season , Schabacker moved to Darmstadt 98 . Under coach Lothar Buchmann , Schabacker and Darmstadt won the championship in the southern season, the second Bundesliga, in the 1977/78 season. That made the promotion to the Bundesliga perfect. After a year in the Bundesliga, in which Darmstadt was directly relegated from bottom of the table, Schabacker's career ended.
