Dietrich Christoph Ihring

Dietrich Christoph Ihring (born January 14, 1669 in Allendorf ; † July 29, 1740 in Kassel ) was mayor of Kassel.

Life

Ihring was the son of Allendorfer citizen Christoph Ihring (1632–1671) and his wife Anna Christina Grau (1651–1710), the daughter of a doctorate doctor and Allendorf mayor Dietrich Grau. He married on April 29, 1696 in Allendorf Gertrud Hein (1676–1741), the daughter of the Allendorf superintendent Konrad Hein. The daughter Susanna Christina Ihring (1708–1786), who married Wilhelm d'Aubigny , emerged from the marriage . Their son Nikolaus Wilhelm Ihring (1699–1757) became superintendent and metropolitan in Allendorf and married Catherine Elisabeth († 1747, 43 years old), the daughter of the mayor of Kassel Johannes Koppen . Their son was Dietrich Christoph Ihringk .

Ihring studied law in Jena from 1686. In 1691 he continued his studies in Marburg, 1693 in Halle and 1695 again in Marburg. There he obtained his licentiate. He was mayor of Kassel from 1727 and again from 1728 to 1730.
