Dietrich Kothe
Dietrich Kothe , pseudonym Kothe-Opperau (born October 20, 1938 in Opperau near Breslau) is a German author and sculptor.
He grew up in Landsberg am Lech and attended school there and in the Marist College in Mindelheim . After studying in Munich, I worked for 40 years, including teaching German at various vocational schools. In 2003 he retired as Director of Studies.
Kothes literary and sculptural work led to various book and press publications as well as exhibitions under his pseudonym Hannes Kothe-Opperau . In his literary work (in epic and poetry ) , the focus is on people, often from an existential philosophy perspective. His sculptural material is mostly wood.
