Dietrich Müller-Stüler

Dietrich Rohlfs Hermann Müller-Stüler (born September 26, 1908 in Berlin , † December 28, 1984 in Burghausen ) was a German architect .

Life

Friedrich August Stüler's great-grandson first studied history and art history at the Philipps University in Marburg , then architecture at the Technical University in Berlin, where he graduated as a qualified engineer in 1933. After his legal clerkship, he was appointed government master builder in 1936 . It was used in the civil service in Berlin and Brandenburg. After his parents' house was destroyed in World War II, Müller-Stüler moved to East Friesland , where his mother's family came from. In 1946 he settled in Leerdown and became a lecturer at the technical college for the building trade. In 1947 he was appointed head of the State Building Department. In 1953, he moved to the regional council in Aurich as senior government and building officer . Among other things, he oversaw the renovation and restoration of several sacred buildings, including the Reformed Church in Aurich. In 1960 he led the renovation of the St. Lamberti Church in Aurich. After restructuring the district government, he was most recently construction director in Oldenburg (Oldb.). In 1973 he retired.
