The non-profit Digital Culture eV , founded in 2003, has set itself the goal of promoting the demo scene . The focus is on activities in Germany taking into account an international target group.

In addition to the Evoke event , the association is represented at trade fairs such as CeBIT or YOU to provide information about the demo scene. In this context, he produces information material, is present at LAN parties to show young people that you can be creative with the computer instead of just consuming and supports various activities such as exhibitions on computer art , trips to demo parties, etc. v. m.

Since 2003 the association has been awarding a young talent prize to an individual or a group within the demo scene. This prize is aimed at new faces within the demo scene who have particularly distinguished themselves with a production at Evoke. The recipient of this award will be determined at Evoke by an independent jury made up of members of the demo scene.

The association launched the information portal demoscene.info at CeBIT 2004, which is intended to provide comprehensive information on the demo scene.

Since 2006 the association has been running the Intel Demo Competition in cooperation with Intel . Five demo groups face a public vote.
